2024 Senior Futsal
Provincial Championship Letter of Intent

Entry Deadlines & Fees
- Teams entering the Provincial Championship must submit the Entry Form, and Entry Fee to the Manitoba Soccer Association at the time of the entry submission.
- Non-Refundable Entry Fee - Futsal Provincial Championship - $300.00 (Deadline - November 30, 2023 - 5:00 PM)
The 2024 MSA Futsal Provincial Championship will be played in both Niverville and Winnipeg, with the final being held at Niverville. Teams will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodation if you choose to stay in the host city.
Based on last year’s participation and the lack of facility availability there will be a cap of 4 teams allowed to participate in the tournament. Please submit this form ASAP to confirm your spot in the tournament. Entries will be received on a first come, first served basis.
TEAM ELIGIBILITY
- The MSA Senior Futsal Provincial Championship Competition is open to registered members of the MSA. Teams do not necessarily have to play in a member league but must be a registered member of the MSA. All teams must complete the corresponding registration forms and pay the annual registration fee.
- Teams must submit a completed letter of intent and entry fee of $300.00 in order to reserve a spot in the competition by November 30, 2023. Once teams are accepted into the tournament, rosters must be submitted to the MSA by December 30, 2023. Failure to submit rosters by this date will result in an automatic disqualification from the tournament.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
- Only players registered with the MSA or an Association/League in membership shall be eligible to compete in the MSA Senior Futsal Provincial Championship Competition.
- A minimum of 10 players on the final submitted roster shall be either:
- A Canadian Citizen; or
- A Permanent Resident (as defined by the Government of Canada);
- A Protected Person (as defined by the Government of Canada).
- Players not meeting the required eligibility may apply to the Canada Soccer Competitions Committee Eligibility Panel for an exemption. The deadline for submitting the exemption request is December 15.
FUTSAL CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
- Launched in 2015, the Futsal Canadian Championship is Canada’s top-level club futsal championship.
- Canada Soccer has confirmed the intent on hosting the 2024 Futsal Canadian Championship in April or May of 2024. The teams competing at the 2024 MSA Futsal Provincial Competition will be playing for one spot at Nationals.
